Script Assessor

I've worked as a Script Producer, screenwriter and script editor in both Australia and the UK. Credits include Home and Away, Neighbours, Emmerdale, Dani's House and even Bananas in Pyjamas.

I have written, script produced and plotted more than 500 hours of television. I lecture in Screenwriting at the Australian, Film, Television and Radio School, and I'm also a script assessor for the Australia  Writers' Guild. I have worked as a script editor on several shows, including Home and Away, Emmerdale, Horrid Henry, 24Seven, Girls in Love ... I volunteer on the NSW AWG Committee, organising events, panels and masterclasses. I am committed to supporting emerging writers.

I recently hosted the AWG/ VIVID Sydney Speed Pitching event, and I spoke on behalf of the AWG at the Make it Australian Launch at Event Cinemas George Street. At AFTRS I was co-investigator on a research project entitled "The Science of Pitching, a Biometric study" - aiming to ascertain what exactly constitutes a successful pitch. I ran a Pitching Seminar in Adelaide for AWG members; and I organise the annual Speed Pitching Event held at AFTRS.

I frequently provide friends, colleagues and students with written feedback on their projects with excellent results.

Your project will only move forward with feedback - let me help you with your next draft.

I co-created Help I'm a Teenage Outlaw, an action comedy for ITV - which was also screened on ABC in Australia. Here's a shot of the cast in between takes.
